Nana Approved, LLC (“Nana Approved,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides educational resources for new and expecting families, including but not limited to Nana’s Notes: A Parenting Primer, Nana’s Notes: From the Heart, the Developmental Continuity Model™ (DCM) Crosswalk, The Science Behind Nana’s Notes, and related materials made available through NanaApproved.com, our Kajabi-hosted platform, and any QR-code or print-based delivery methods (collectively, the “Materials”). This Educational Disclaimer explains the intended purpose and limitations of the Materials and should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Educational Purpose Only — Not Medical or Clinical Advice
The Materials are designed to support developmental understanding, confidence, and connection for new families during the early postpartum and infant care period. They are intended for general educational and informational purposes only.
The Materials do not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and are not a substitute for the professional judgment of a pediatrician, obstetrician, midwife, lactation consultant, mental health provider, or other licensed healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, your child’s development, your own postpartum health, or any concerns that arise during the newborn or early parenting period.

3. About the Developmental Continuity Model™ (DCM)
The Developmental Continuity Model™ (DCM) is a proprietary educational framework developed by Nana Approved, based on the founder’s decades of hands-on experience working with families and informed by widely accepted principles of early childhood development. The DCM is offered as a translation layer — helping families move from developmental science toward understanding, confidence, action, connection, and ongoing learning.
The DCM is an educational framework, not a clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic tool. It is not intended to screen, diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical, developmental, or mental health condition in a parent, caregiver, or child. Any concerns about a child’s development, behavior, or health should be directed to a qualified pediatric or healthcare professional.
4. The Clinical Companion and “Dr. Leena”
Certain institutional materials offered to hospital and healthcare partners include access to a Clinical Companion resource, which may incorporate an AI-assisted collaborator referred to as “Dr. Leena.”
- “Dr. Leena” is an AI-based educational collaborator and is not a licensed physician, nurse, or other healthcare provider, and does not hold any clinical credential.
- Any information, suggestion, or response provided by or attributed to “Dr. Leena” is generated through an AI system and is provided for general informational and illustrative purposes only.
- Nothing produced by “Dr. Leena” or any other AI-assisted component of the Materials should be relied upon as professional clinical guidance, and such content does not create a provider-patient relationship of any kind.
Hospitals and institutional partners distributing materials that reference the Clinical Companion or “Dr. Leena” are responsible for ensuring this distinction is clear to the families they serve, consistent with their own clinical governance and patient communication policies.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Every family, child, and developmental journey is unique. While the Materials are grounded in the founder’s extensive experience and informed by developmental research, Nana Approved makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, that use of the Materials will result in any particular outcome — including, without limitation, any specific developmental milestone, parenting result, emotional state, or improvement in family wellbeing.
References to research, studies, or developmental science within the Materials are provided for general educational context and are not intended as a substitute for individualized professional guidance.
6. Intended Audience
The Materials are intended for adult parents, caregivers, and the healthcare professionals and institutions who support them. The Materials are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Materials or NanaApproved.com (see our Privacy Policy for more information).
7. Institutional and Hospital Partner Use
Hospitals and healthcare institutions that distribute the Materials to patients and families do so as a supplemental educational resource. Nana Approved does not direct, supervise, or take responsibility for the clinical care, discharge planning, or medical decision-making of any partnering institution, and this Disclaimer does not modify or limit any separate written agreement between Nana Approved and an institutional partner.
8. No Professional Relationship Created
Accessing or using the Materials — whether through purchase, gift, hospital distribution, or any other channel — does not create any medical, clinical, therapeutic, fiduciary, or professional advisory relationship between you and Nana Approved, its founder, contributors, or any AI-assisted component of the Materials.
