I didn't start in healthcare. I started on Wall Street. 

After years in finance, first in NYC and then London, I stepped into the world of developmental play, building a small chain of programs across Southern NH and Northern MA. In the process, I discovered a field I never expected to love so deeply: early childhood development. 

That was more than 30 years ago. Since then, I have worked hands-on with thousands of families, in that quiet space where families are trying to figure things out in real time, often without a clear roadmap.

What I kept seeing, year after year, was the same pattern.

Babies leave the hospital healthy. Moms leave the hospital medically stable. And families go home without a clear understanding of early development.

Nobody intended for it to happen that way. But it does.

The Developmental Continuity Model™ (DCM) exists to extend care beyond discharge.

The science of early childhood tells us that the first days and weeks are not a waiting room. They are the beginning. What a parent understands in those early moments — about connection, about development, and about what their baby is already doing and becoming — shapes everything that follows.

I'm a former Wall Street trader and an early childhood educator, the founder of Nana Approved, LLC, and the creator of the DCM™. I have spent more than three decades working directly with families across my region.

I built this because I've sat with enough new parents — exhausted, hopeful, a little lost — to know what they need most is the confidence that comes with understanding. 

That's what Nana's Notes was created to provide.
